CC Prep School

CC Prep School is a modern, multi-level school building with large window walls, glass entrances and interior glazing. Our team glazed the exterior window systems and entry storefronts and installed the interior glass, from the reception area to the classrooms. The completed building shows how well-planned glazing gives students bright, daylit places to learn.

The challenge

Schools and public facilities face strict requirements for safety glazing and energy use, and the work usually has to be planned around the academic calendar and public hours.

Our solution

Our installers erected the curtain wall and window wall framing, glazed it with insulated low-E units and sealed the perimeter into the building's air and water barrier. Our crew set out and anchored the aluminum framing, glazed it with tempered safety glass and hung the entry doors with commercial closers, pivots and locks, then sealed every joint against the weather. From start to finish we worked hand in hand with the general contractor and the owner, kept the work area clean and safe, and protected completed finishes until handover.

The result

Classrooms and reading areas are now full of natural light, and the heavy-duty glazing and entries hold up to daily wear.
