Back-Painted Glass

Back-Painted Glass Wall Cladding and Glass Marker Boards

Back-painted glass delivers a seamless, high-gloss surface in virtually any color. It is used for feature walls, elevator lobbies, restaurant backsplashes, reception desks and writable glass boards in meeting rooms. CBE Glass supplies and installs back-painted and low-iron color glass for commercial interiors throughout the DC area.

Popular uses

  • Lobby and corridor feature walls
  • Glass marker boards for offices and classrooms
  • Elevator cab and elevator lobby cladding
  • Restaurant, bar and kitchen backsplashes
  • Reception desks and counter fronts
  • Color-matched glass for brand environments

True color with low-iron glass

Ordinary glass has a slight green tint that changes colors behind it. For whites and light brand colors we use low-iron glass so the painted color reads true. We match paint to your brand standards and provide samples before fabrication.

Clean installation details

Back-painted panels are mounted with structural adhesive or concealed fasteners, with cutouts for outlets and switches measured precisely on site. Edges are polished and joints aligned for a flawless finish.
